Holy Might's Christmas Party
Saturday was our Christmas party, which ended up being more fun than should be legal for a video game. They tore my house up, we rampaged the countryside in our undies and bewildered lowbie alts in the newbie zones!
Folks gather in their holiday finery outside my apt in Maj Dul and exchange gifts.

We did Secret Santa's this year, and Grodie had me for his vi...er... person... so he opens up a trade window and gives me 5 birchwood roots (a birch switch, get it?), a lump of coal, and a smelly pirate's cowl. This was pretty hilarious as it was, then he opens another window and gives me a fishing spear and a couple fishhooks...then, a garlic, salt and pepper shaker (a spicerack!)... then my "real" gift, which was a kerren doll and the Robe of Evil Eyelashes, which my lil' warlock to be will eventually model.
I had Shockblade, so I got him a guard dog and an attack duck. :)
Draco had Soulstyce, and happened to have won a defiler master in our group the night before, so it was technically "under" the 10g limit (!)...so Soul made out like a ...well, a ratonga.
Mikial brought along a friend...and, having already dipped into the eggnog, I couldn't figure out how he got a summoned turtle pet for a gift... I just realized *now* looking at the picture that duh, it's a housepet and Mik is a trustee. (this came in handy later, when Tebren got himself stuck behind a palm tree in my house, and needed someone to move it...)

Gunthore got his holidays mixed up and came as Poseidon:

An unusual angel for the top of the tree:

Spiked eggnog and punch imbibed, the party got a lil'crazy.
Ummm what are these blue rings in my bedroom?

Brawls broke out, the angel jumped the tree and opted for teasing the monkey up on the bookshelves...kellindil over on the right turned my gnomish distillery into a bong, he was the most sedate partygoer we had...well, until later.

Mikial, busy at the party games..

Some of us were too lazy to get up right away.
Wispa and Reb box in the background, Kellindil drags Sumner over to check out the bong, Draco adds some shiny chrome to the mix and summoned pets look on in confusion.

I'm not sure if this is cute or macabre... I keep getting flashbacks to The Lost Boys and the Vampire Death By Stuffed Gazelle Head scene.

Audra and Mik discovered a treadmill built into my dining room table (food and fitness in the same place, this is Jetson's style efficiency in Norrath, I say!)

It's all fun and games till someone loses an eye.
Mik passed out on the table proving that Rebel is indeed, the drunken master while Shock and Draco duke it out in the background.

Drunks passed out everywhere.

The aftermath... some lingering partygoers try to look inconspicous while I run out for more cleaning supplies.

Reb went and hid himself somewhere in TS, and passed out. The object of the game was to go find him...well, Audra found him, and someone else found Coldtooth, so we decided to play whack-a-mole... in our underwear.

Tebren kills a guild leader and sweeps her under the rug. "what Ninibi? We've never heard of her..."

Revived and having slaughtered poor Coldtooth, we headed for Oakmyst Forest for a few rounds of Hide & Seek.
A tell I got:
"what are you guys doing here?"
"playing hide & seek LOL"
"...."
Holy Might, ready to take Oakmyst by storm! The rat finding new and creative places to scramble, which sparked an impromptu comptetion of "how many people can we get up there..." and "how far can you launch yourself off the arch?" (Mik won. Did a bellyflop right into the water.)

I found a creative place to hide...

They'll never find me here!

Busted!

A few more rounds of Hide & Seek revealed there's a lot more places to hide in Oakmyst than we had thought.
That done, we headed off for raids...did Lockjaw, then Gates of whatever it is (the raid instance of Living Tombs). :)
