There was a bit of an accident with the ceiling - someone using fireworks one night. Looking past the snowdrift, though, we can see this wickedly clever mix of hot and cool with the asian style braziers at each entryway. Check those scaled ice columns set nearby! It's not fashion without risk!
Unique wall art! My monk peruses the floor to ceiling mural, feeling herself drawn to the soothing blues and cool grays blending in subtle harmony to emulate the rich depths of arctic ice (I actually wouldn't mind this on my wall!).

The Menagerie "Library" is the perfect place for mingling and dancing. The minimalist cube in the center doubles as a disco "ball" at night. The message? Duh! Don't be a square!
For those that wish to contemplate the mystery of life, spirituality, and the great beyond, look up! A sceptor? An 8 pointed star? Another homage to art deco's dispassionate mating with minimalism? This glowing piece of artwork adorns the ceiling of the final room, in gorgeous aqua splendor.
The eight points of the star, in pagan lore, represent the 8 seasonal rituals: Brigid's Feast, Vernal Equinox, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Autumn Equinox, Halloween, and Winter Solstice. It is also seen as the Maltese Cross, or Cross of St. John in christian literature. Also, it is a popular choice in quilt patterns.
Is Miragul nursing a yearning for the rustic days of yore? Perhaps, somewhere in his past, he wrapped himself in a handmade halfling quilt before drifting off to sweet dreams of the undead!
